Burning
When lighting our candles for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the glass. Depending on the size, this should take around 1-3 hours.

This is important because failure to do so will create a tunnelling effect and limit the performance of the candle.

Wick Trimming
For best results trim your wick to about 1/4" before you re-light your candle. This will ensure a long lasting candle and minimize soot.

Extinguishing
To Extinguish your candle carefully dip the wick into the melted wax and then straighten it again. This will stop the wick smoking and will help with re-lighting for the next use.

Safety
Make sure your candle is placed on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
Don’t leave your burning candle unattended.
Keep out the reach of children and pets.
Don’t burn on or near any flammable materials.
Keep burning candles away from any drafts.
Leave 1/2 inch of wax in the bottom of the container to avoid overheating of the glass.
Don’t burn for increments of more than 4 hours.

General
Please remember our candles are hand curated and although every effort is made to ensure consistency, some candles may differ which gives it a unique charm.

When using completely natural soy wax, sometimes you may notice air pockets in your container glass. This is not a fault and can be caused by a drop in temperature while in transit causing the wax to shrink slightly.

The top of your candle may also appear slightly uneven, this is also a sign of natural soy wax being hand poured.
